Essentia

Essentia is a modular decentralized interoperable system and data management framework.

It has two main components: Essences and Synergies.

• Essences interlink data across multiple services. Such data can belong to individuals, companies, groups or organizations, creating decentralized Internet users. 
• Synergies link different platforms, resources and modules together for interoperation.

Developers can build more powerful and efficient applications on the Essentia framework, combining all the best technologies around the globe.

How does it work?

The Essentia framework saves the users’ IDs, data, desktops, files, accounts, software, wallets, logins, excluding third-party or centralized services involvement. The user can get his data from anywhere on a reliable operating data platform.

The platform is protected by cryptography and the blockchain-based systems. So, the user is also able to instantly and securely gain access to on-chain and off-chain third-party services interacting with them. It’s up to him to decide whether to share his information or not.

The user’s data can be encrypted and maintained in a decentralized storage. The users’ encrypted data is not publicly connected with the ID. The data can only be used by its owner and by the person given the access to it.

Users are also able to have their own personal system. They can dispose of their data and digital belongings by using a decentralized platform. 

ESS Tokens and ICO

The ESS Tokens will be periodically redistributed in equal proportion to the users’ stakes. They will play a significant role in the ecosystem evolution. This provides a user’s possibility to make offers to data services with the ESS Tokens. The user would also have access to exclusive Essentia resources.

A part of the ESS Tokens will be reserved in order to promote the Essentia Framework integration and reward active users for their involvement, participation or resource-sharing.

The token sale started on 30 April 2018. It will close on May 15. The total token supply will be 1,7 bln ESS Tokens. Now, the creators of the project have already sold 595 mln ESS Tokens.
