In the past I have run busy websites with the cheapest VPS package for $14.95. I have personally run entire social networks on this very plan and found the site could handle 100's of users online at once.
I honestly cant find much fault with thcservers in general. The only issue I had was after I asked support to migrate my site from a normal web hosting plan to VPS. This however was apparently quite a task and took a little trial and error from the technical team to sort out. All in all the service is really great.
