πŸš€ What Cryptos do YOU own? – November, 22nd πŸš€

in bitcoin β€’Β  7 years agoΒ  (edited)

πŸš€ Every week, I decided to update the different cryptocurrencies I own and would like to ask you which one do you believe in the most in your respective wallet. πŸš€

This is the 11th weekly: "What cryptos do You own?"

  • As I work in finance, Stock Markets polls are very useful for fund managers to understand what investors own because they currently like it and what they do not.
  • Usually, in the Stock Market, it is not very good to own a stock that everybody owns; it means that most investors bought it already and therefore, future demand will be low.
  • Whereas understanding which one are under owned is very useful in case a positive news is released on the stock. Since a few investors own it, they will rush to buy some and the price will increase significantly.

My current portfolio and reasons why I own these cryptos:

My HODL portfolio moved from last week, I HOLD my EOS and sold a bit of Ripple considering the good run it had recently.

I recently bought some Siacoin and Golem because I believe these projects are interesting for companies and could have an economic use.

  • Ripple (XRP): Signed most of the TOP50 banks and is runned very professionally. It is working with Chinese partners on many projects.
  • Ethereum (ETH): In my opinion, it has been the most exciting project in cryptos so far. This project has been copied or inspire many other hot cryptos (NEO, EOS...). Devon3 gathering brought a lot of visibility on Ethereum's next improvements especially on the scalability issue.
  • Steem: If you read this, you know why. I increased my Holdings recently to benefit from the <$1.0 price
  • Eosio (EOS): I believe in Dan Larimer; he already developped 2 great projects (Steem and Bitshares) and as the Co-founder of Steemit on @SGTReport said about Dan larimer and its EOS ICO: β€œThe people who say that there is no product yet, Dan has built 2 of them if they think he’s not gonna build the 3rd one, they’re crazy. This is the one he always wanted. The other 2 were just helping him get there”. EOS is showing some nice upward trend recently. I can see some β€œWhales” are stacking them.
  • Siacoin (SC): Siacoin is a solution that allow companies to use storage in a decentralize on Siacoin network. β€œMiners” are renting their storage capacity. It is 5-10x less expensive than with traditional companies as Amazon Web Services, Google, etc…
  • Golem (GLM): It is a cryptocurrency allowing you to use the calculating power of the computers connected to its blockchain network. This is useful for companies looking to rent some calculating power for a project, etc…

Other Cryptocurrencies that I used to own

  • Mysterium (MYST): * The company is developing a Blockchain VPN. As China is trying to implement its Great Internet Wall before 2018, this would block VPN based technology. This project could offer a solution to Chinese and even other people to have more privacy while browsing through the internet.
  • Stratis (STRAT): Stratis offers full service capabilities for the development, deployment and management of blockchain applications and solutions utilizing C#. *Stratis tries to make it easier for companies, organisations or other entities to develop a blockchain app.
  • Ethereum Classic (ETC): I think it is undervalued, dapps and other projects are using it as the Ethereum network is getting crowded.
  • Augur (REP): I just like the prediction market project. They have a good team of developers and seem to work very hard on this project. And last but not least but they keep you updated on a weekly basis and were at Devcon3 recently.

My Current Leverage

  • I have sold my Long ETH position of 1,2x my HODL portfolio with a nice profit
  • I have sold my Long Litecoin of 0.5x my HODL portfolio
  • I am not fully invested as I feel we performed very well in the short term and I am ready to buy cryptos if it drops a little bit.

My Portfolio on November, 15th

I am long Altcoins and still not interested by BTC

Bitcoin was the first Crypto, but… I prefer my Altcoins (EOS, XRP, REP…).

Finaly, What crypto should I look into at the moment?

And you, What do YOU own?

Please remember this is my personal opinion and not a financial/investment advice. You need to do your own research to make your own decision. Investing in cryptocurrencies can lead to financial losses.

I myself am thinking about converting my Ethereum at least 50% of it to Eosio. Whats your opinion???
Nice post, been very informative...

I really like EOS and it could be the true Ethereum contender, nevertheless it is very volatile and the ICO is still ungoing.
Dig the subject but they have a strong team, a ton of money and are bacled by professional IT / VC companies.

Please recomend some good wallet and exchange with low fee for EOS and Ethereum.
Do recommend wallet for cold storage i.e. a year or so and for short storage i.e. trading.

You are totally right about the storage view.
For EOS exchanges, I use Kraken (pretty bad in the last months but registered in the US and you can trust them, new version will be launch in December) or Bitfinex (some issues in the last few days about their solvency so I really don't know if it is secure).

Bitcoin and Steem

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

My portfolio includes: BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC and XRP. (I think XRP will be the next banks driven rocket ;-) But i'm also intrested in DASH and Monero. Maybe i'll give them a little chance to grow...

My head is in IOTA, Ripple, OmiseGO and Stratis

Nice combo, I like and know 3 of them. I have still to dig more into OMG.

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

You encouraged me to investigate into Mysterium :D Also, I've written a short review of OMG including the most general information out there, If that crypto interests you I think that it would be a good start

Yes but beware, there have been issues with the Team that doesn't communicate a lot and seems to advance "slowly" on the project.

I'm more of a long-time investor, so time doesn't really bother me, still, thanks for the heads up, gotta find some time to look into it closer

EOS-STEEM-Litecoin-Bitshares!

In Dan You Trust !
I like your holdings !

Thank's, Im just now learning how to use the open ledger platform, it looks cool to me but a bit confusing.

I enjoyed reading your post, I learnt few things to consider before investing into any biz. I own only a little steem as simply new in cryptocurrency.

I wish I had bought $500 worth of NEO in April this year. It would have been a quarter million by now.
Anyways, I am more interested in Mysterium and Siacoin after your post.
Thank you very much!

We should not blame ourselves...
I owned EOS for 3 months at 0.60$. I sold to take a leverage for a few days on ETH. during these 3 days. EOS did $0.60 -> $1.5...
I had almost always 50 Augur (REP), but not the last 2 days => +60% in 3 days...
But at the same time I took other opportunities so let's just be happy :D.

Yes! :)
But yes, I know what I doing now.
And the results I am getting at the moment prove that.

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted from the communal account, @minnowsupport, by Mr.Lemon from the Minnow Support Project. It's a witness project run by aggroed, ausbitbank, teamsteem, theprophet0, someguy123, neoxian, followbtcnews/crimsonclad, and netuoso. The goal is to help Steemit grow by supporting Minnows and creating a social network. Please find us in the Peace, Abundance, and Liberty Network (PALnet) Discord Channel. It's a completely public and open space to all members of the Steemit community who voluntarily choose to be there.

I've got a what you call 'very diversified portfolio' :-)
BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, Dash (boughtit when the price was really low), stratis, waves, Lisk, Bitshares, steem and NEO. Right now I"m looking at Siacoin and IOTA.
Any recommendations on safe storage for those?

I am interested in EOS but US people can not partake. why is that and if Dan created it why not allow Americans to own it?

If you have the EXODUS wallet you can get it on the secondary market!
