The current state of the BTC market... 1/27/18

If you have ever been much of a currency trader or spent much time watching markets you have seen what the current graph looks like before and know where it is likely to go from here... Up.

After the recent media coverage and enthusiasm sent the BTC price close to $20K we saw healthy profit taking and the regular January dip which also led many without crypto experience and with weak intestinal fortitude to sell.

BTC appears to be at a fairly stable price hovering just over the $11K USD mark, which makes sense if you know these graphs. Often cryptocurrencies will reach a peak and will settle just above half it's max price. They will sit at this new price until something pushes them.

In the case of BTC we have begun to see the bypassing of government bans with ico's quickly finding favorable countries in which to base operations and mining operations quickly moving locations from beyond the oppressive Chinese's government's reach. Now that we are past the normal January dip and we have shown that any given government cannot stop cryptocurrency we can see promising things to come. The Lightning Network and some very promising steps towards the mainstream practical use of BTC and blockchain technologies are setting BTC and many alts up for a green 2018.

We are likely to see BTC bounce around the $11K USD mark where is has nice support for only a short time longer. The altcoins have already started to see some signs of recovery. Buy the dip.
