Kucoin drops Bitcoin Cash pairs

The exchange cited low volume and the goal of a more streamlined interface.

In a surprise move, Hong Kong based cryptocurrency exchange, Kucoin, announced they will be dropping Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from their offered pairings on the exchange. Traders will continue to be able to trade pairs with BTC, NEO, KCS, and USDT.

To be clear, it is still possible to buy and sell Bitcoin Cash on Kucoin. However, it is not possible to directly trade BCH with other assets. Instead, the other available trading pairs (BTC, NEO, KCS, and USDT) would need to be used for such a trade.

Kucoin stated that volumes on BCH pairs were too low to remain sustainable, at less than one percent. Kucoin also recently eliminated a few of their less popular pairings to streamline the service, as listed here:

BCH:All trading pairs FOTA/BCH, KCS/BCH, DENT/BCH, ACT/BCH, UTK/BCH, DAT/BCH, and XAS/BCH
KCS:DASH/KCS, CAG/KCS, MOD/KCS
USDT:DBC/USDT, TEL/USDT, FOTA/USDT, OCN/USDT, TNC/USDT, ETC/USDT
NEO:MOD/NEO, QTUM/NEO, ACAT/NEO, FOTA/NEO, BCH/NEO, DENT/NEO

A few surprises stand out from the pack, but BCH is by far the most impacted by this adjustment.

Haha @xsid!

You are driving the knife deep! Sounds like you have some frustration to vent but I get it. Debating about something that you know will happen, with someone that does not want to believe it, can push you far.

Great info you are giving man. keep up the good work.

Just stating the facts dude lol

Thanks for this! I just got on KuCoin to get some $LOOM, but usually just trade around with $BTC.
