Is now the time to go all in on altcoins?
Many investors were expecting to see some major growth in the altcoin market following the last of a series of bitcoin hardforks. So what's the deal..? All we got was a typical pump and dump and more sideways trading for most top coins. I expected a much bigger pop in coins like steem and many others since the uncertainty is behind us. Has bitcoin cash and gold soaked up that much capital, that it has stalled potential gains in altcoins? Maybe bitcoin will continue its bull run and Alts will continue in its continuous downtrend. How much longer can this last before the tides turn in Alts favour?
Personally, I have a feeling bitcoins about to cool off and Alts will finally receive some much needed attention.
imo it could be time for increased competition from other similar to BTC cryptocurrencies; there's no future for expensive digital money. The competitive free digital coin market may make these digital moneys instruments that regular people can deal with. The other concern, for me anyway, is the computer processing mining farms. How is it, by what logic can we attribute value to money that is derived from computer processing power. So the guy with most money can easily outperform anybody else that has perhaps 1-5 computers. In addition, the other concern is the specter of jealousy from the central banks that want to make crypto disappear from the financial map is always hanging over unsuspecting users. The central banks will not stand on the sideline just watching their middle man role disappear
