Recently finished a teaching contract in Malaysia. I've now been an ICT teacher for three years now. Before teaching, I published a book 'Zen Gaming and the Art of Electronic Sports', and trained to be a professional gamer. Going back further, I served five years in the U.S. military as infantryman and earned two Army accommodation medals for my service in Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. My degree is in business management- which I earned after my service in the military. Throughout my many adventures, one thing remained with me, my passion for competitive gaming.

I've been gaming since pong...and still remember when my dad brought home a Nintendo from Korea. I was hooked. My favorite game to this day is still 'Chrono Trigger' - like many others I dreamed of being able to play games for money, but the opportunities to do such are not very abundant. However, that is about to change - currently we are in the process of developing an APP that will pay users for winning an eSport Challenge.

How it works!

Step 1 - Create a profile
Create a team or solo account. Select which systems you want to compete on, i.e. PC, PS4, Android, etc. Then select or upload and avatar or logo. Enter the servers you can participate on. Select the eSports you wish to compete in. ie. League of Legends, Starcraft 2, Mortal Kombat, etc. Finally provide a bio if you wish.

Step 2 - Matchmaking
There are two matchmaking modes: professional and farming. Farming is less risky as you cannot lose any XPER, and for each win you will be awarded XPER. In eSport mode, you must risk an amount of XPER against another opponent, the winner of the match will receive all the XPER.

To find a match swipe left through available profiles. If you find an opponent you like click accept challenge. If they accept, a challenged is made, and you will be able to chat with your opponent to properly coordinate the match.

Step 3 - Get Paid
After the match finishes, both players (or teams) must return to the Level Up App. The App will ask each player who won. If there is no disagreement, the winner will be awarded with XPER into their battlechest, and both players records and stats will be updated. Feedback can be left and HONOR can be awarded to opponent.

If there is a disagreement, each player must submit evidence i.e. screenshots of the victory screen. XPER will not be released until the case is reviewed by other players.

While this may seem simplistic- there are many advanced features that will be covered at a later date-
