Almost all of us here when we started in Bitcoin got there addresses with random alphanumeric characters. You want something that is like your own personal wallet? Let's do it with Vanitygen.
What do you need?
- Download Vanitygen zip-file
- A Bitcoin wallet software that can import a private key like Electrum
- Extract the zip-file after downloading.
- Extract All...
- After Extracting
- Select the extracted folder then hold Shift + right-click, open command prompt or powershell window
- And now you're in the command prompt of the extracted folder
- You can choose either the 32-bit or 64-bit exe file, since I got a 64-bit OS I'll go with the 64-bit. Now think of any characters you want to include, then on the command prompt type ./vanitygen64 1(insert characters here) and hit ENTER.
- Then depending on how many characters you put and your CPU power, results can take an instant to almost forever.
It will stop when the search is finish and will show the output address and private key.
- Now, copy the private keys and import it on your Bitcoin wallet software.
- And now you got your own Vanity Bitcoin Address. Enjoy!
