An open letter to Cliff High, (Politics, Casey Neistat, Crypto and Bitcoin)

in bitcoin •  7 years ago  (edited)

Last night I was watching a Cliff High YouTube video and he started talking about some guy I never heard of.....

Then he started getting really political and suggesting that liberals get far-more traffic to their videos than other people, because Google has it set up that way and someone who's not a member of a certain political party will be out-competed by people who don't subscribe to Google's political structure.... LOL

I never found any correlation with politics and Crypto other than the potential regulation issue - and even then... I know thousands of cryptoheads and they come in all political parties, all shapes and sizes, all skin pigments, all religions and lack of religions, all ages, all genders, all professions and all nationalities.

To suggest that liberals have some sort of advantage in the financial markets and internet production is: paranoid, conspiracy-driven bullshit.

But I would like to thank Cliff for opening my eyes to to Casey Neistat - his videos are incredibly well produced, well-edited and entertaining. I'm learning a lot about what works and what doesn't in video production and he freely gives people advice on these very issues.

And unlike you - he's not afraid to use his real name.

While your knowledge of Crypto and your optimism of Bitcoin is great... your videos come across as just another bitter, tired, miserable, hateful, paranoid old man. (People like this are a dime a dozen in 2018).

BitCoin, and the entire crypto market, has made you a very wealthy man and you should be happy and inspired - you should be using that success to unite people and pull them from their suppressed financial states.

Instead - you choose to use your influence to spread political hate and division.

The world, especially the social world, needs hope, unity, laughter, fascination and truth. That's the unwritten words of Casey Neista's videos and that's why he has millions of subscribers and billions of views and you don't.

The road to contentment and inner-peace begins when we find the courage to stop blaming others for our own personal failure. The person to blame is in the nearest mirror.
