To celebrate Bitcoin pizza day this year, we are going to be delivering pizza to refugees in Berlin, our city and where Bitwala is based. To date there are more than 60000 refugees in Berlin, including children and old men and women who have come here to escape war and injustice.
We are lucky to have partnered with local organisations and pizza places in an effort to put a smile on people’s faces on this day. You can purchase a slice of pizza for 1 EUR but of course you are welcome to contribute a bigger amount. Donations will run until May 21st.
