So, can you elaborate on what XPER is? Apparently it exists on the bitcoin blockchain, so it is not a crypto currency in and of itself. Where exactly does it come from and how is it created?

Yes it currently exist on the bitcoin blockchain using counterparty, does that disqualify it from being a cryptocurrency, if so then I suppose its a crypto token? There are currently only 10mil XPER tokens (XPER = experience pts), but this number will be increased when we get ready to start crowdfunding(probably by the end of the month).
XPER is the only crypto token that can be used with the Level Up: eSport App and the lowest denominator is 1 XPER(there is no .1, .01 XPERs). The user of the APP can earn XPER by farming. Farming is very different from bitcoin mining(actually just made a video on this(
When you farm and win, you are rewarded with XPER tokens into your battlechest, if you lose nothing happens and you go on to the next match. In eSport Pro mode, you risk XPER tokens in a wager against another player(or team)- if you lose in this mode, the XPER wagered goes to the winner.
