Bitcoin [BTC], Litecoin [LTC], Ether [ETC] now accepted by an Australian pharmacy!

TravelByBit, on June 18th, announced another merchant on board to accept payment in cryptocurrencies. By doing this, TravelByBit introduced a new industry among their list of merchants! Lugarno Pharmacy, a store near Sydney is now accepting cryptocurrencies – Bitcoin [BTC], Litecoin [LTC], Dash [DASH], and Ethereum [ETH] for medications.

TravelByBit is an Australian company, who lets travelers pay in a cryptocurrency of their choice. The company designs tourism routes and provides their merchant list with a digital currency payment platform. The merchant list consists of various industries from real estate and accommodation to travel information providers and bike rentals. It also lends support to crypto-community for overseas travel or tourism around Australia. On its website’s introductory video, they have mentioned their goal to run a “Bitcoin Travel Movement”.

In the recent crypto-market scenario, a bear has spooked the entire crypto-community, leading to a crash in almost all the prices. BTC is currently selling at a value of $6,468 USD with a market cap of $110 Billion. Last week, the price of Bitcoin dropped to a cold $6,291 USD and ignited debates on the threats imposed on investors.

Following Bitcoin’s lead is Ethereum on the 2nd position on Coin Market Cap. Its current price is held at $497 USD with a market cap of $49 Billion. During the peak of the recent market crash, ETH dropped as low as $462 and has touched a high of around $715 USD in the past one month.

Litecoin and Dash occupy the 6th and 13th positions, respectively on the chart. At the time of writing, LTC was selling at $94 USD with a market cap of more than $5 Billion. Meanwhile, Dash was selling at $253 USD with a market cap of about $2 Billion.
