A little bit of BITCOIN in my Coins.ph

To have other source of income, aside from my current work as an agent in a bpo company, I decided to download coins.ph app and start my eloading business and to my surprise, there is also the one that has been on my interest for quite some time now, BITCOIN!!!

So what is coins.ph? Here's the detailed explanation I got from Wikipedia:

Coins.ph is a financial services platform founded in 2014 by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Ron Hose and Runar Petursson in Metro Manila, Philippines.

As a service running on blockchain technology, Coins.ph uses digital currency as a low cost gateway to banking, extending the reach of financial institutions beyond their existing branch infrastructure to the 300+ million who are unbanked in the Philippines and the rest of Southeast Asia.

I was encouraged by a good friend to do coins.ph as a source of income since I am planning to get a retailer sim to start my E-loading Business.

And I am glad I did it.

Coins.ph caters electronic loading to different mobile networks (from Smart, Talk and Text, Globe, Touch Mobile, SunCellular, and even AbsCbn). It also provides bills payment and fund transfer from and to banks, remittance centers and other coins user.

To get started.

  • You just need to download coins.ph app in playstore.

  • Setup your account and register using your preferred sim card. Complete verification needed to get fully use of the app.
You will get your initial 60php as a welcome bonus after your acct and your id is verified. You can use this as a start up capital.

  • Cashin your additional funds to start running your business. You may do this by adding through banks or at 7-11.
What I do is I top up funds via 7-11 kiosk weekly either 500 or 1000php. There is a minimum amount service charge every top up.

  • Tell your friends about your new business!!!
Personally, this is hard for me to start but I know I need to let them know that they can approach me or chat me when they need to have their phone loaded or if they have bills need to be paid and they dont have time to do it by themselves, so that earning will follow.

I dont have enough knowledge about bitcoin at the moment but what I am doing is evertime I earn a hundred pesos, I use this earning to buy bitcoin. A very small amount but still trying to invest.

I am still trying to figure out how to earn thru Bitcoin by reading blogs about it. Really hard for me to understand such stuffs so a comment will be really much appreciated 😊😊😊

got 100 pesos already for inviting 2 friends in coins.ph hehe

Passive income sis 😊😊😊

I am not an eloader but I find this app useful since I have no patience in going outside para magpaload. Cebuana Llhuiller also partners with coins.ph and the attendant told me that there are a lot of freelancers receive their payments from coins.ph to cebuana.

Tama ka jan mas ok talaga yung may sarili kang pangload sa sarili ....convenience at your own phase

But i will also try to be a reloader.

Yep.

You can also process bills and earn for every 3 successful bills paid.

Is that aside from the 5 unique bills for the week?

oh not 3? But 5,....

I have coins.ph took me a while to activate because I had a hard time but still hard to understand

3 days ago, I tried to transfer my 10SBD to my coins.ph. thru blocktrade. I was just curious how it works. That time 10SBD=505Php. But after about 10 minutes when I checked my coins.ph wallet, I just received 133Php. I don't know why.. I just thought blocktrade deducted a service charge from that transaction.

Oh noh.. Wasted earning sis.. I will yry to ask dn po about your concern.. Kakahinyang naman

May i know po which part are you having a hard time with coins po @purpledaisy57?

I guess how to transfer from steemit to there then to the bank lol

Ohh yeahh... That part i do not know yet din po hahaha
Pero from coins to bank is easy lang dn po

It is very simple. There is an easy way. All happens on one page and the owners @blocktrades is here and trusted. Simply go to https://blocktrades.us and you will see to tabs, one for sending and one for receiving. Since coins.ph has a bitcoin wallet, you are receiving bitcoin. So basically, you will be sending steem/sbd straight to coins.ph without any additional action, you are simply letting blocktrades do the work. Simply go to your coins.ph wallet and copy your wallet address. You have two wallet addresses. One is peso wallet and the other is bitcoin wallet. If you want your money straight in pesos, copy the pesos wallet address. Just like the bitcoin wallet is looks like this (skdksdkq3234k5l5k5gl4lgvvs). Once you copy that; goto to https://blocktrades.us then on the first box towards the left where it says "send" click on the drop down and choose steem or sbd, then choose the amount of sbd or steem that you want to send, then on the right side, click on the drop down and choose bitcoin. Now paste the recieve address just below, which is the address you copied from coins.ph, whether the peso wallet address or bitcoin wallet address that you copied from coins.ph. When you insert it there, it will notify you instantly that the address is valid, then will show you a memo just below. Simply copy that memo, then come to steemit and go to you wallet, then send the steem or sbd amount to @blocktrades, which is an account here on steem. Make sure of the spelling. Then in the memo field during the transfer of steem to @blocktrades, paste in the memo that you copied earlier from blocktrades.us and send. Once the transaction goes through on steemit and steem or sbd is sent to blocktrades, wait for some minutes. Sometimes it takes time, so let's say 30 mins and you will find it in your balance on coins.ph. Once it is there, every thing is easy. If you want it straight to you bank, it is straight forward and works with most banks. If you send it to your bank before 10 am, you will get in your back likely before 6 pm same day. if you send it to cebuana, you money may be ready within minutes. You can also have coins.ph send cash to your home address etc or you can leave the money on coins.ph and shop online or pay bills. If you are on android, coins.ph has a virtual debit card "American express" i think. You can also cash out with gcash, which is instant etc.

It is very easy. 2 major things. Simply copy your wallet address php or bitcoin from coins.ph and then, then submit it to blocktrades. they generate you a memo. copy that memo then come to steemit and send steem or sbd to blocktrades, using the memo they gave you, then wait for it to arrive on coins.ph

For first timer, try with small amounts first, so you can understand it

Thanks @surpassinggoogle for dropping by and for those generous responses as always,
But I have a question, how small is the small amount that we can try?
because as you can see in the beginning of this thread @ediah tried to transfer SBD10 to coins.ph which is 500+ in pesos, but turned to received just 133 pesos in her php wallet, is there a service charge in every transaction? If there is, how much it is so we know how much we can transfer in next time. Thanks in advance 😊

Yes there is a service charge cos you see bitcoin is not like steem. steem is zero fees and 3 seconds fast. Bitcoin on the other hand, so many people use it, and it cant process too many transactions at once, so there is a queue. The higher fees you pay, the faster the transaction. Bitcoin currently is trying to work on that, so they have been doing updates, that is why bitcoin price is rising and went above 6,000 within days. Now you can cut on the fees but that is a harder way. for starters and for safety of your funds incase you want to send money, blocktrades is the most convenient. Another reason, it can be 133 is cos of fluctuation but if he received the money in bitcoin and leave it there for a while and bitcoin rises, it will go back up. So it depends on what wallet he used. On coins.ph there is a pesos wallet address and a bitcoin wallet address. If you choice bitcoin wallet address, you get bitcoin directly, so the money keeps moving up and down, so can be 133 but next hour, it can be 150 or go down. to prevent the fluctuation, you can do a simple exchange while on coins.ph, to exchange your bitcoin for pesos, happens instantly and the money wont go up or down again. When you are ready, i can teach you in chat but it is dead easy in reality, if you just try. if you lose your 10 sbd, i can replace it

Omg @surpassinggoogle for the delay in response. I waited for my smart data connection To replenish huhuhu
I am so overwhelmed by the kindness of you. But I will definitely grab your offered help. Thank you so much @surpassinggoogle 😍😍😍

Nope, nope, it is dead easy. When you are ready to try it with a small amount reach me on discord and i will walk you thru. It is dead easy. It all happens on one page

Thanks to Jehovah.
You better love steem

I learned about bitcoin because of coins.ph.
I currently work from home and my employer sends payroll in Bitcoin via BitWage and then funneled to Coins.ph where it's converted to pesos.

I've had few issues with coins.ph but nothing major. Glad that crypto is becoming more mainstream here in PHL.
