Bitcoin was never anonymous, though. And wouldn't greater decentralization happen as more and more people adopt and create nodes? How will this adoption happen with tiny block size limits and exorbitant fees?

Possible but many coins already do this. what BTC has going for it is publicity, everyone knows it or knows of it so its an easy understandable entry point, people are use to long transaction times and bitcoin is currently working on a number of solutions 3 in fact by Q2 2018.

Jesus! Both of you guys have good points. This is great dialogue and I tend to agree with kafk here but, man, bf has some valid points as well. Let these two communities battle it out while MANY other coins pass them by in the next half year. Some promising tech out there and one of them is gonna sneak in the back door while these other two dummies ( BCH & BTC) are bickering...({[I'm talking to you litecoin]})...
