June Bitcoin Diamond Progress Report

1. [lightning network development]

We tested the stability of The lightning network on our testnet by creating nodes, payment channels, declaring and paying transaction requests, confirming receipts across nodes, and testing payments between sender and reciever. These series of tests on all the processes for lightning network development has been completed successfully. Some problems related to stability has been recorded and also modified.

All tests for basic function of the lightning network has been done.

Some updates to expect in the next version includes New boost versions requirement v1.47.0 minimum; upgrade ZMQ to Python3 support; unify code style and replace some function names; simplify code by delete useless priority judgment; add return error code; modify some misleading hints; reconstructing ZapWalletTxes to increase stability; adding functions to create purses through JSON RPC requests; replacing old syntax with c++ new features, optimizing namespace, updating annotations, expanding documents, and increasing document readability.

We’ve completed the basic functional development of BCD wallet app. We added the private key (QR code or string) recovery, the history bill and transaction details access, PIN codes to protect the wallet and the encrypted storage wallet data.
