The results of the survey show that the majority of the influencers and analysts believe the $3,150 low of December 2018 for Bitcoin price will serve as the trough for the bear market. Moreover, 11 out of 17 participants were more than 70% certain that the bottom was in. Willy Woo himself, Jesse Powell, Arjun Balaji, and Novogratz were the most bullish with 85% to 95% levels of certainty.
$350 Premium on Bitcoin at Bitfinex
Biftinex users resorted to mass withdrawals following the recent controversy involving the exchange and Tether's USDT stablecoin. This resulted in a premium on the Bitfinex Bitcoin (BTC) price even though the general price of Bitcoin had recovered from the impact of the negative news on Bitfinex and Tether. The price difference was as high as $350 (6.75%) on 28th April.
Marty Bent, the chief editor of a daily bitcoin newsletter, updated her followers on the price action:

At the time of writing, the premium had reduced to $161 (3%). Bitcoin was selling at $5,388 on Bitfinex when the average Bitcoin price on Coinmarketcap.com was $5,224. This suggests that in spite of the mass withdrawals, some traders may have taken advantage of the arbitrage opportunity.
Ethereum Core Dev: Funding Secured for ProgPow 3rd party Audit
In a recent Ethereum core developer meeting, Hudson Jameson, the Ethereum communication coordinator and blockchain developer, announced that funding for the third party audit of programmatic proof-of-work (ProgPow), an ASIC-resistant blockchain consensus algorithm, has been secured.
ProgPow was built to reduce the advantage of specialized mining hardware over GPUs. This could potentially allow GPU miners to compete favorably for rewards.
During the meeting, it was revealed that a total of 50,000 DAI (US dollar-pegged stable coin) was raised through donations. According to Jameson, the audit is expected to commence within a week or two.
Ethereum Cat Herders, a group of independent contributors in the Ethereum community, confirmed the announcement and promised to publish a blog post with details of the audit in the near future.
