The internet and cryptomarket are full of junk these days.
Which one is the right token?
Which one is the right blockchain technology?
Which ICO should I invest in?
In my opinion, almost 95% of the entire tokens in the market now are junk.
Why?
Think about the psychology and personality of spoiled rich kids who have been blessed with tons of money growing up.
These kids who have been pampered with so much money will grow up with the mindset that everything should be easy and that with little work they'll be showered and rewarded with money right away.
This is the psychology of most Alt and ICO companies now, because of all the hype that's coming into this industry almost all companies have a short-term outlook of raising funds, cashing out and moving forward again to the next ICO project to sell to the public.
This is no different with the dotcom bubble before. No one knows how to create websites back then and if you can simply create one you'll be showered with investments even if there's no fundamental business behind your dotcom concept because everyone is enamored with the idea that websites will change the world back then.
Why are they behaving like this?
It is because the market and investors are encouraging them also because of the get rich quick mentality that's surrounding the entire space.
No one really cares about the fundamental value and use of the token they are buying. Be honest with yourself, you really didn't care about the real world use case of the token you just bought. You just bought it out of pure speculation thinking that when it grows in value you'll take your profits right away and move forward to the next token.
Even if you say you are a long-term HODLER, most of the tokens you bought, you have ZERO idea on how it is going to be integrated into the real world economy.
Am I being pessimistic and negative here?
Not really, I'm just being realistic and pragmatic this time.
Why?
Because the entire psychology and behaviour of the entire market are really bothering me, everyone is becoming greedy and everyone feels that making millions is the norm in this space.
What's wrong with that?
Of course, you do know that if the entire sentiment and psychology of the entire market are getting rich and making millions then this is starting to become a recipe for a bubble or a Ponzi scheme.
SHOULD WE STOP INVESTING?
In my opinion, you should not either.
Hanging around and staying in the crypto market might be one of the most stressful decision you'll ever make in your entire life, but once you are used to how the entire game works and how to manage risk, greed, fear and expectations I truly believe that crypto industry is still going to be the biggest revolution of our lifetime.
The only challenge now is how to not lose all your money in this game everytime time it dips, flips, crash and burst.
Think about this almost everyone is in Crypto now, the entire internet is filled with morons, garbage content and marketers trying to hype shit coins left and right.
When I started actively investing 2 years back I was still able to get decent advice and opinion on youtube coming from a lot of sincere experts on blockchain and crypto economics. But now a lot of newbies and amateurs are all shouting to the moon on all tokens they are trying to pump whether they are trying to monetize their social media or they are trying to sell their shit coins to other people.
WHAT TO DO MOVING FORWARD?
Take every opinion you hear on the internet with a grain of salt
Don't be too greedy with that "moon idea" of yours learn a little bit of technical analysis and secure some profits in your short-term positions.
Be pragmatic with the entire decentralized landscape and blockchain movement. If this is going to be a financial revolution then understand that all revolutions of the past didn't happen overnight.
That's why it is called a revolution because it is going to be a battle between old and new, a battle between conservative, extremist and radicals in all financial, tech and political arena. And this battle like any wars that happened in the past will always take generations to happen and stabilize.
THINGS TO CONSIDER IF YOU ARE STILL SERIOUS:
- If you are really a long-term investor or HODLER then make sure you are ready for 10 years or more of long-term holding.
- Learn cold-storage wallets because now it is proven all exchanges no matter how big can be hacked
- Make sure your private keys are secured beyond the possibility of you forgetting where you stored them
Learn the basics of investing and set yourself with short-term positions to take profits so at least you are not empty handed when everything comes crashing down or the market is trying to cleanse and purge itself again with another round of market crash.
Make money along the way, while you are constantly investing and learning the technology and the new industry, you can also make profits through buy and sell.
At the end of the day, treat this cryptocurrency opportunity like any other market opportunity out there. The hype will soon fade away and the market will grow at a normal pace because a lot of people are flocking in maintaining the balance between buyers and sellers and like all markets in history the free market will always correct and heal itself in the years to come.
I'm always excited and amazed with this new technology and revolution but it would always help to keep in mind the advice our parents and grandparents have been telling us all our lives.

- Other people are trying to make money as well
- Governments and Financial Institutions are very rich and smart
- The market is unregulated and can be manipulated by large forces
- There are a thousands of people smarter and more experienced than you in this space
- If you think this is easy money then other people are thinking the same thing as well.
- This is an internet industry anybody can enter and exit the game anytime
So please be smarter and wiser in this next round of bitcoin and crypto bull-run
BE PATIENT!
Be patient if the market is not picking up, take this bear period as an opportunity to have more time to study and save a little bit of money while the market is down.

- The market is naturally cleansing and healing itself.
- There's not much middleman lately.

- Shit ICOs are having a hard time launching their tokens
ALL THE BAD COMES WITH THE GOOD
Once the bear period is over the market will have naturally healed itself and if you are still around by that time then you will be full of wisdom and knowledge to wisely choose the tokens you will HODL for 2018 and beyond.
THE WATER IS STEADY AND CLEAR
Now is the time to seriously look around and study the market.
The water is clear and it is very easy to spot that genuine gem of opportunity for the year 2018.

The market is not going anywhere for the next few days.
Stop looking at that price chart, close your laptop and enjoy Valentine's day with the one you love.
