I think the mining should be stopped and another solution must be created for the consensus process. The amount of energy these mining industries using is insane. Most of them are not using the green energy of course. And John Mcafee seems like he's going insane day by day. He even launched his own coin mcafeecoin . .5M USD per bitcoin by 2020? I think the cryptocurrencies are not yet there cause we're still comparing them with fiat money. They're claiming that you can keep your own asset but at the end of the day you're still converting them into USD to buy food. Till the day we're not dealing completely with bitcoin I don't see it's value that much. And it'll be pretty unfair if somebody invests like $3 and becomes a Millionaire. Cause he or she literally did not give any sort of value or service to make the world a better place. Just bought and speculated and held. I don't think we're not in that age yet where everything's is done by robots and we as people just relax and play with money. I love cryptos but I believe a lot of people are overvaluing this at this current stage without knowing in depth about the whole technology behind it which is called blockchain.
I personally love the blockchain technology. And I think it's still very early days. A whole lot of altcoins will come and most of them will fail. Until we have some regulations on using cryptocurrencies I don't see they're stabilizing in price. I don't wanna go to a shopping mall with 100 different kinds of currencies in my pocket and make a transaction with them for products. That's too much hassle. I hope the developers will come with real solution for these and make cryptocurrencies as standard currency for all .

I totally agree with you. My prediction is that it hits that $500k mark in about 10-15 years, 20 at max. and then we should be at a decent stage of this blockchain technology to fully implement it in everyday buys and sells.

Exactly. History always repeats. Take a look at the 70's tech revolution. A lot of companies came up with different solutions but only a few sustained in the long run. Same goes to the ".com" revolution.
