The fact that so many people could fall for something so obvious just shows how stupid the average person is. Anytime Bitconnect was criticized they would rush to defend it by stating that they were getting paid, therefore it had to be legit. It is such an asinine argument that demonstrates absolutely no understanding whatsoever of how a ponzi works. People get so carried away with the pipedream of getting rich overnight and escaping reality that they throw all common sense & basic critical thinking skills out the window. The fact that $10k compounding at ~1.5% daily becomes a trillion in ~3.5yrs didn't seem to phase them speaks volumes about the level of delusion.
