I am a bit of a crypto-adventurer myself and am thinking of signing up for bitconnect as well.
On that note, what do you think about Control-Finance? I posted this update on Steemit about it a few days ago. It is somewhat critical, but I am seriously in two minds on this. They seem to be gaining a lot of steam lately although they are very new. I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.
