Samul Reed, CTO of BitMEX, one of the largest cryptocurrency derivatives exchanges in the world, has made a very rapid entry into the agenda recently. Reed, who was arrested in the USA due to the lawsuit and investigation initiated by the US Commodity and Futures Transactions Commission (CFTC), ended his detention that began on October 1.

According to the court documents obtained, Reed was released on a full $ 5 million bail payment. Although Reed is now released from custody, he can see through the bars again if he is found guilty according to the course of the court.

At the court hearing held by videoconference on October 1, it was announced that Reed was represented by lawyer William J. Trach. Although bail was paid, it was also announced that Reed and his wife's passports were confiscated in case of a possible escape risk. Not only Reed but all the founders of the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange faced the court.

Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo and Gregory Dwyer are currently wanted by the US. The news that Arthur Hayes resigned after all these events shook the agenda. In fact, this resignation indicates that the BitMEX crypto currency exchange will continue to serve as before.

Bitcoin's price, the leading cryptocurrency, also fell sharply after what happened on the BitMEX exchange. Now the reversal of events could bring a positive price action for BTC.
