Customer loyalty is the customer's willingness to buy from or work with a brand again and again, and it is the result of a positive customer's experience, customer's satisfaction and the value of the product or services the customer gets from the transaction.

It might sound obvious, of course brands wants to provide great customer services, so customers will continue subscribing or purchasing. But customer's loyalty is paramount to a brand's success because loyal customers can grow business faster than sales or marketing.

If this context has been fully digested, then there is need to know what a customer loyalty program truly entails. Well it is nothing cumbersome or ambiguous but a reward program offered by a company to customers who frequently make purchases. It may be in form of real merchandise, rewards, coupons, or even advanced release products.

the blockchain technology inarguably has been a milestone in terms of technological advancement to the present generation with myriads of utility it offers.

But as revolutionary as it is, it has however been faced with some challenges which has made its gross adoption still something to worry about it date. Although several step has been taken to uncover ways to curbing these inefficiencies including several loyalty and reward points programmes (LRPs).

Rewards! rewards!! rewards!!! tell me, who doesn't want to be rewarded? that's why as a blockchain enthusiast, I see this approach as a perfect way of addressing these impediments. Nevertheless, of the millions of reward programs up in the air, non as actually been able to circumvent the issues on table because these programs has also incorporated some loopholes within them which no one has actually bothered to look into including:

  1. changes to program rules
  2. lack of transferability and portability of most LRPs programs (making them somewhat fixed).

Overtime, customers tends to lose confidence, fate and trust making it somewhat like a merry goes round (revolving in a cycle).
