Bits and Pieces - Would You Eat from Goldware?

Investing in silver is something I have been doing for some years. Gold is also a good hedge against the failings of government notes. Having bars of gold or silver is nice but what if you could do one better?

Most wouldn't know it these days, but silver has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. I have been making my own colloidal silver for a few years now and it has worked wonders. So I was thinking the other day, "why not buy silverware instead of silver bars?" Silver and gold do have healthy properties after all. Those healthy qualities in contact with the food you eat could be very beneficial. Do they even make gold utensils?

Off I went looking for silverware. It didn't take long to find out that although people ate from silverware a hundred years ago, you would be hard pressed to find any real silverware today. Most everything I am finding has no silver in the knife blade or fork end, and the handles are only silver plated copper.

I have found little baby spoons that are solid silver. Some parents had made it tradition to buy a spoon for each child. I was really looking for a set of silverware to use. It would sure beat just having bags of pure silver grains or bars.

Still looking. I'll keep you updated if I find anything as I go.

Russian collusion. I'll give you my take on it but first...

I don't watch any news. I don't follow anything closely enough to know what "the narrative" might be today on CNN or Fox. If it doesn't come with facts, audio or video in context, chances are I will ignore it. So, this is the way I see things, not having been exposed to that sanctioned narrative.

Also, the phrase, "Because you're an idiot!" is an ad hominem, not a valid argument for regulation debate. When I hear logical fallacies on air, I am quick to correctly assume that nothing intellectual is going on there. If they had a point, they lost me.

Yes, the Russians are now colluding with Turkey. Yes,Turkey is the country that shot down a Russian bomber for transgressing their airspace for xx seconds. And now they are colluding with them. A cartoon lead up to world war three, probably.

ISIS

I heard that the Trump is cutting off money earmarked for training "moderate rebels" in Syria. I am down with that. I can't sit through one more video of our troops accidentally air dropping arms to ISIS. It's happened so many times now that one might even start thinking that the "moderate rebels" are camping out near ISIS. Maybe even talking to them.

America was never invited to help out in Syria but when we did, ISIS expanded exponentially. I think my country had two years of self-appointed terror guard duty before Russia was invited in by the elected government. America had two air bases at that time. It looks like they have more 'military posts' now.

Now America is building more and more bases as "terror" has been all but stamped out. Could it be the pipeline that Iran wanted to build that is keeping America in Syria? Last I heard, the PKK has coexisted with the Assad government with very few problems.

I do know that Erdogan does not like the PKK, and that brings us back to how those Russians are colluding with Turkey.

Thought. What if say, Mexico had "military posts" popping up in say, the western regions of the USA? As long as Canada hated Californians, it would be fine right? Sorry, but it seems the same as our logic as the invading forces in Syria.

Russian Jets

I saw a video released showing Russian jets buzzing an American war ship. Cool!

One question. Where was the American war ship?

I grew up in America. I watched us get out of some pretty shaky economic situations simply by pointing a finger at the next country on the list and starting a war. You know. For the cause of democracy. With America's reputation for provoking war with no proof except lies about WMD's and shit, I tend to believe the country that has restrained responses to their soldiers being killed, and their planes being shot down.

I don't fit into any label you might want to stick on my chest.

I used "America" to describe my country because I see nothing "United" about it lately.

That's probably another reason they want war. I could go on but I am ranted out for now.
