If you need to get an account at the worlds FIRST decentralized crypto currency exchange, go here https://wallet.bitshares.org/#/create-account/password and REMEMBER this is JUST like Steem where you CANNOT loose your password BUTthey DO have a nice system here or on openledger,io (another Bitshares front end) which let's you assign a special password you make yourself for accessing your Bitshares account and making transactions, so it is actually a little easier to use and WHY can't we have this same "make your own special password" system for Steem if we have it for Bitshares? Just wondering, thanks!

Yeah the addition to set password on our own choice would be a great thing...But maybe in future this choice should come and old users like us should also get this option available for us because we may save the private keys in a very secure place but who knows due to ones busy life one can forget and due to keeping in one place only he/she may lose there account so it will be definetly a assset if this kind of option comes and I'll create a bit shares account too not now but very soon after my college exam

and as for the setting you are own password YES I think Steem Can do thgis because BITSHARES has it so Steem should alow the setting of a password as well!
