short open.usd on bitshares

any thoughts on this idea?

bitshares has some good news headlines coming soon, which will likely put some upward pressure on the BTS price.

I'm thinking about shorting the open.usd to profit from the spread (between it and BTS). Haven't done this sort of trading before but it seems to make sense in my shaped head.

any thoughts on that are welcome and thank you in advance.
