Just yesterday I replied to a post saying that I'm going to start accepting Bitshares for my web design and development service. And today I found a way to do it. Or did I?
CoinGate said they added bitshares as a payment method
So I went and registered at CoinGate. The interface and everything seems ok, and there seem to be a lot of good features you can use. CoinGate charges 1% as their fee. So I went forward and created a payment link, just to quickly experiment.
https://coingate.com/pay/gx-payment
The minimum amount for which it works is $5
Filled the BTS return address and everything and got this screen
I was going to complete this transaction using Bitshares web, but turns out, in the Send screen, it doesn't recognize the address they sent and so it just wouldn't Send. To be sure, I even checked up the address on Cryptofresh bitshares explorer and yeah, it didn't seem to have that address.
Whoops! Am I missing something or does it not work?
Edit: CoinGate reached me and assured me that they're fixing it asap
It must have account name + memo.
Here, it looks like it was mixed in single field...its a bug or incomplete feature
