The idea of a decentralized bank is interesting.

Will crypto in 5 years look back and see AriseBank was definitely too shady, but the idea is worth exploring?

From what I've read, Arise statements were shady and overeager. If the SEC hadn't stepped in, though, I'm curious if they would have been able to pull off the FDIC side of it once they had funding. It would have still been wrong -- they would be doing make-goods w/ funding, instead of being truthful upfront -- but I just wonder if it would have been successful.
