Another BTS markets update

Today the dex has left bittrex in the dust! It is pretty obvious that 'trex volume would get lower and lower due to people pulling their bts, but here's an interesting observation: yesterday, when the volume shares of 'trex and DEX were pretty even, the total trade volume of bithares was around $4 million. Today it is around $12 million and more than 20% of that is happening on the DEX. Maybe people are finally starting to understand what bitshares is about.

Once you go DEX, you'll never need 'trex!

I've been using the DEX nearly every day for the past month or so. My first experience trading crypto. I never did centralized exchanges and glad I didn't. I'm very happy with the philosophy of the Decentralized Exchange and I'm doing quite well with trading.

Great to hear that the trading volume is up!

Not sure if you know, but the dex lets you leverage 1.5x with no interest by borrowing against your BTS. Can really juice your trading if you're on a roll!

Thanks John. I have been using the "borrow" feature. I think I've been doing well trading and my goal is to gain more Bitshares. I use that margin feature to "lock up" Bitshares so that I always keep a certain percentage in Bitshares and don't trade it all away in to other currencies.

I read your comments on Steemit about Bitshares with interest. Thanks for being active here and promoting Bitshares. I appreciate it.
