$6 withdrawal fee on bittrex, payment for good job or just too much?

Bittrex is my favorite crytocurrency exchange and I use bittrex everyday for trading and I've made some good money from it.

I always don't pay attention to withdrawal fees whenever I'm taking money out of bittrex, but somehow I decided to check the charge and I noticed I was charged $6 for a withdrawal of $30 I wanted to make.

I wanted to be sure about my calculations, so I went to blockchain app to see if 0.001 BTC was actually $6 and it was really $6.

I understand the reason for the fee, they need to pay for this or that, pay workers. But will this centralized cryptocurrency exchange stand the rise of decentralized exchanges? Just a question.

I decided to send money from my other blockchain account to compare the fees and the fee here was very little compared to bittrex.

I believe the future belongs to decentralized exchanges and because of that, I've paid for a lifetime account on bitshares and I'm looking forward to writing on some other DEX.

$6 fee on a $30 withdrawal is a big joke no exchange should play with me,
that's fucking too much and can wreck one faster than losing a long streak of trades.

Good you're loving DEX more, i stopped using both poloniex and bittrex when i discovered bitshares and now i got 80% of my crypto portfolio on bitshares and it makes more sense, more money and more profit to me.

I guess I'll do start doing the same, so I can get Back my transaction fees.

Remember what happened to Mt Gox, don't like centralized exchanges anymore.

Yeah bro, centralized exchanges are big gambles, you can imagine the rumour that poloniex doesn't have a physical office and that those guys operate and control our funds from their panties in the kitchen :)

Hmmmmmmmm so you're using those bitshares?

Absolutely bro

Abusive bittrex

They have to pay their workers, I guess

But you can't be sure, it's a central exchange and they disclose nothing :P

Yes you're right, I was just trying to create excuse for them.

Well I'm not bothered anymore because I'm now fully into #bitshares

Great choice, Welcome to the real world :)

Thanks @sc-steemit

Can you trade with the $100 paid?

Nope, the $100 activates your referral link so that you can use it and allows you to gain from your referrals.

Nice bro @samstickz. This your post has a point. If you have to pay 6$ for something of 30$ thats like 20% gone already. Its too bad. Anyway dex is the future of exchanges. Infact decentralized is the future of everything...watch n see! Welldone!

Yes oh daddy. From now on I'll be using bitshares, transaction fees on bitshares is extremely cheap

Yeah. Thats the direction to go. Though bittrex has more features in terms of trading. And all these things depends on how much you are trading. If you were trading /transferring something huge the % would have been little...

I the lower the funds, the higher the charge?

Anyways, bitshares is my baby now.
