Can anyone explain the huge surge in Bitshare accounts created yesterday?

There were 1,071 accounts created as per https://cryptofresh.com/charts

      Why? to take referer bonus? He is still doing this. I guess he found easy way to profit.

        I wondered the same, but have been busy with a bunch of other stuff.

        Was surprised that nobody commented about this on the forum.
