Our last "Greek style" lunch in Plaka, which means sharing of food and it lasts for 3 hours!

Plaka is the old historical Athens which is located under the Acropolis on the northern and eastern slopes.

For your amazing friend Greeting from me for @stan, @onceuponatime, @michaelx, @vpbokos. Tell them I people who can not speak England :) lol

LOL- love the parking lot! How can that possibly even work?! The outdoor seating at the cafe looks like a great place for lunch. Did you take any photos of the Parthenon?

You had me doing some research and it turns out that I am kinda wrong...the 1st 2 photos are of the Parthenon lit up because the Acropolis is actually what the hill is called. Thanks :)

Did you go up to the top? That of architecture is really interesting, especially when you consider the planning and craftsmanship involved. They even compensated for the optical illusion by making the columns slightly fatter in the middle.

We didn’t have time to go to the top but I’ve been there before. I totally agree with you that the design is totally fascinating, especially to figure how to build something that massive back then.
In the parliament building (no photos allowed) there is a combo photo/drawing approx 1’ high by 12’ wide of how everything looked back in the day. What surprised me was how small the population was back then.

Looks like you enjoyed alot there @steem-samiam

Hello. I saw your photos, and remembered the problems with parking in the cities of Greece. I also plan to write about Athens. And today posted a post about Delphi and the oracle.
I will subscribe to your blog so as not to miss interesting posts about Greece!
