Welcome to the 11th Bitshares State of the Network (BSotN) report. I will be releasing this report weekly to look at the changes in the ecosystem and track longer term changes in a effort to identify emerging trends and changes in the Bitshares platform.
Bitshares - State of the Network - 21st November 2016
The Bitshares State of the Network Reports seeks to combine raw data from a wide range of metrics and combine them into meaningful information to identify emerging trends and changes in the Bitshares network.
Observation from this week
This section will highlight any observations made while analysing the data.
BTC38 is the new Polo; BTC38 has increased its holdings this week (as it has for the last 10 weeks straight) to dethrone PoloniEX as the leading Bitshares Exchange; The Chinese Exchange this week has found it self holding 7 Million BTS more than Polo. Given BTC38 has been increasing it's holding for pretty much every report it begs the question what is the fundamental driver for China's new love affair with Bitshares..
Bitshares user 'Alt' has continued his work on his Android App 'BTSBOT' and reviews and comments are starting to fill the tread in the Bitsharestalk forum regarding their profitability and general love for his creation. Awesome work Alt!, check out the progress, read the comments and try out 'BTSBOT' HERE

I am there every week but i use it as a valuable resource to collect the information to present. That is why i always post a few days after the hangouts. If i was to discuss the report in the following week it might be a bit too old.
But i will ask this week and maybe if the community is interested i could rsvp to provoke a discussion on points of interest.. like frontier-trade.. go check out the assets this user bas registered and tell me you dont want to have a discussion about what future project she may be launching ;)

Hi, there are 8 worker burn & refund proposals with end date of 31 Dec 2016. Total amount of unpaid funds is 12,673,559 BTS. Do I understand it correctly that this sum will go back to reserve fund on 1 January 2017 and "Profit/Expenses from the Bitshares Reserve Pool" chart will show huge increase that week?
