Good afternoon!
A small description of the types of coins on the exchange BitShares.
Assets are divided into two large groups - MPA and UIA.
In the UIA group, you can also select two separate types: EBA, FBA. From MPA you can also choose 2 separate types: PMA, PBA. Now a little more about each type.
UIA or User Issued Assets are coins issued by users for various purposes. They require trust in the user who issued them. For example, OPULENCE are issued as shares of an anonymous cryptofund on the exchange BitShares.
** EBA ** or Exchange Backed Assets are coins that duplicate something that exists elsewhere, including a coins from other blockchains. At the exchange BitShares are most often used by gateways. For example, rudex.ETH is a coin that duplicates ETH in blockchain ethereum. And allows you to trade ETH on the exchange BitShares.
FBA or Fee Backed Assets is the type of shares whose owners receive dividends from the profit of the issuing company. For example, OBITS or escrow.SHARE. Holders of the first coins receive a portion of the issuer's profit, and the issuer also purchases part of the coins at market prices. The holders of the second receive part of the profits, as well as the opportunity to use the company's nodes.
MPA or Market-Pegged Assets - they are secured by a pledge in BTS. Most often, speaking of MPA, a person means bitassets - these are derivatives on the dollar/silver/bitcoin etc., which are managed by committee and have at least 175% of the value in bail BTS. The cost of bitassets is calculated on the basis of the quotes witnesses.
PMA or Privatized Bit-Assets is a hybrid of UIA and MPA. Quotations for these coins are given in private. Therefore, you need to trust the user who issued them. A striking example here is HERO - coin, wherein in formula laid 5% annual increase in the US dollar.
PBA or Prediction Market Asset - coins created for the prediction of any events. Convenient for various disputes, totalizators. Unfortunately, until they have gained enough popularity, so I can not give you a good example.
I hope this helps you decide which coin you want to release.
