Noticed some new tokens on bitshares for some index and stocks.

These are derivatives related to stock and index prices of counterparts. Could be good for paper trading maybe. None of the following is investing advice and seek more information on such matters. Also research more if these assets may be trusted as they are new and some things may have room for improvement which has already appeared to have happened. Feed prices are being provided by some witnesses. However these feeds appear to be in bitshares (BTS) as opposed to bitUSD because of volume concerns and whatever other factors for the initial feeds.

As for some index tokens we have INDEXDJI, INDEXSPX, and INDEXNASDAQ that you may check out. Some more information on bitsharestalk about S&P 500, Dow and other indexes as smart assets.

1 AMAZONCOM - AMAZON.COM, INC by NASDAQ (AMZN) AMAZONCOM is a derivative for the AMAZON.COM, INC share. Feeds are assigned from the Nasdaq exchange.
Feeds on the BTS are published from the Poloniex.com exchange.
BTS quotes from the Bitshares exchange will soon be added, to obtain an average market quotation for all exchanges

So there now appears the ability to trade some stock derivatives on bitshares with these tokens.
