The uncertainty brought about by Bitworld in my Country in recent times.

When the power of Multi- Level -Marketing in the name of Bitworld was introduce in Bamenda, Cameroon in early April 2018 it brought plenty of hope especially among the youths who seemingly make up a grater proportion of the unemployed population of the region. Its CEO was Marcio Silva, a Brazilian directly assisted by Fred Rodriguez.

The story behind this platform was that when you invested your money, it had to mature within a couple of months for example three months. This investment was electronic and during which time when your invest had mature, you could withdraw your earnings but leaving about 75 dollars in your account. However, when you had invested money, you will need to refer another person such that you can be able to benefit double fold i.e from your direct deposits and again a percentage of the amount the person you referred invested.
Nonetheless, when people became interested since they had seen a good number already benefiting, there was mad rush to invest in the platform.
Shortly in July, 2018 Crypto world another platform emerged though with lower amounts for investment in the platform being 20000frs CFA. As this was not enough, by early September, 2018 Bitworld first crashed and crypto world did followed barely a week after.

That is how people's investment just got disappeared and this caused untold suffering among the people especially at a time when the region is politically unstable. There was no compensation plan to their customers and their office just disappeared. The question now is did both platforms come to support people improve on the income levels, livelihoods or it was just a blindfolded scam that the people did not realize early enough.

Whatsoever is the answer, businesses that are not sustainable or have compensation plans should always be double checked as most of them will often bring untold misery.
