Vantablack (The darkest known object)

Now here we all are familiar with color "black" it is most darkest and enigmatic color, but now it has become even darker and more mysterious.
Surrey Nanosystems, a British nanoelectronics company have used carbon nanotubes in specially designed Chemical Vapour Deposition chamber under an array of powerful lamps that raise the surface temperature to 430ºC to create vanta black (Vertically Aligned carbon NanoTube Array)which are actually 10,000 times thinner human hair to absorb 99.965% of light which is visible. These tubes are so small that even a photon cannot get inside them, but can fit into the small spaces between the tubes, where they are captured. Only 0.035% visual light is not absorbed which is now a world record for most light absorbing material. It is so dark that the human eye cannot understand what it is seeing. Shapes and contours are lost, leaving nothing but an apparent abyss. Its application is quite impressive it can enable astronomical cameras, telescopes, and infrared scanning systems to function more effectively, there are also some military uses that the material's maker (Surrey Nano Systems) is not allowed to discuss. The manufacturers grow Vantablack on aluminum foil and its is said to be expensive that a firm officer was reportedly unable to reveal its price.
