Wesley Balnikker studied graphic design in Rotterdam, with little or no experience he started designing his first t-shirts. Without real planning the clothing brand Black Bananas was born. He grew up in an environment of a hiphop culture, his love for street art made Black Bananas at first a street brand that slowly but surely became a unique combination of high-end clothing and streetwear in the most fashionable way.
