The Canadian smartphone maker, BlackBerry, specialized in mobile productivity and secure communications and understood for the keyboards on its devices. Last year, the company launched their first Android smartphone, BlackBerry KEYOne. To follow this success, the company brings its sequel, BlackBerry KEY2.

While, BlackBerry has already confirmed that it’s upcoming BlackBerry Key2 announced on June 7. On the eve of its launch, the company released a BlackBerry Key2 teaser. The 25-second teaser gives us a glimpse of what BlackBerry has designed this time.

The teaser shows the back of the BlackBerry KEY2 textured panel with a shiny BlackBerry logo. The rear-facing optics packed in a dual camera (12, 8) setup with the LED flash module. The video also features the dark metal casing, includes the new keyboard that is likely to have many improvements.

While, the design of the new keyboard images leaked in a last month. It appears to incorporate a dedicated key that will open the app drawer on the screen. The device will support a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1620×1080 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 3:2.

According to Geekbench, the device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo and powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, combined with 4GB and 6GB RAM choices. Also, the device is expected to come with a USB Type-C port and support 4G LTE with double SIM availability.
