Back in the slavery days, if you could "pass" as white, you had a better chance of escape. Later, when slaves were freed, those "passing" as white moved around a little easier in society. We've fought long and hard to make the playing field equal (opportunity, NOT results, as it should be) --- but that is just not enough for the bigots of today. No, now it's en vogue to be racist against whites, to the point that many are trying to "pass" as black.
