Before we begin we are introduced to the Blade Runner dystopian world with its iconic opening title scene:

This then begs the a rare question… would human existence be better if replicants existed? Think about that for a second.

But if the replicant technology was possible then why would we just stop there? Why not make superiors, i.e. machines far more intelligent than humans, remember what Elon Musk proposed? Create Cyborgs.

Then with replicants (Synthetic Humans) and superiors walking around (Cyborgs)… what purpose would humans serve if EVERYTHING we can do is done better by a machine, Which is exactly what will be our ultimate doom.

The bloody truth is we would have no purpose, none what so ever!

Now you may wish to smack me around a bit, splash some ice cold water on my face, and tell me to calm the F*** down!

But after we each take a deep breath I would ask you a simple question, “Do you believe in god or many gods?”

If you do then you could therefore argue that replicating or a better word for it would becloning the human spirit is a technological impossibility.
But if you don’t then creating human replicants is just a technological hurdle, Which according to Tyrell it is not as nearly as impossible to achieve.
