Low poly 3D models with Blender

Games for mobile devices have to cope with simpler hardware equipment than, for example games for PC, that's why 3D models used in such games should have fewer polygons - these are therefore also called low poly models. In a lot of tutorials I show how to create and texture low poly models with the free application Blender.

In the video above I create an isometric room with furniture such as chairs, tables, monitors or plants.

To increase performance, however, not only the number of polygons is important, but also the materials and textures used for rendering play a major role in the game engine.

In the following video tutorial I show how to texture low poly models in such a way that only one texture can be used.
