Open source, free, 3D rendering software. Outside of Linux, it would be tough to find a better piece of open source software than this.
There are also tons of free tutorials on YouTube.

It's been around for some years now. It's a completely free, open-source 3D program with everything from modeling, simulations, rendering, animation, texturing, sculpting, video editing, motion tracking, almost anything you can think of related to 3D. https://www.blender.org
If you decide to learn it, I highly recommend starting here. Blender has a big learning curve at first but once you get the hang of it, it's amazing!
