space 1999 eagle over alpha base part II

So i've made some progress with the image -
i found a plate footage from the show that works really well.
and i've comped the diorama into it.

well - playing with it a bit more - the camera angle and shadow angle are a mess - but it's close - not that close, but enough for now. I'll try some more to match it, but got tired. broke my rule about the scale of the objects - they are way to huge - i need to dial it into the room size. It'll match much better when i scale the objects correctly and build a proxy object of the room to line it up better- for now it was all on the fly eyeballing - and you know what happens when you do that.

So not sure whats next except to do the project right - that means - i should rescale the main objects to the size of the room - (currently they are way to large), and then second build a proxy room that i can line up - thus getting the camera data much closer to the eyeballing i did.
third once i have the camera and object scale all real room size i can position the lights better.
I also need to place more pegs - currently there is only one.

so a bit of fun.
next one will be a wall hanging.
