Blessed by God: The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?. Psalm 118:6

The LORD and his wisdom are the source of all blessings for man, as expressed by a King belonging to the dynasty of King David in the book of Psalms:
"Let those who fear the LORD say:
´His love endures forever.´
When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD;
he brought me into a spacious place.
The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
I look in triumph on my enemies.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in humans.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.", Psalm 118:4-9.

The Providence of God ("Oh Father, you rule everything with Providence", Wisdom 14:3) rewards with spiritual and material goods those who fear him and seek his wisdom. And an example of this is King Solomon, the author of the book of Psalms, a man blessed by the LORD, to whom God gave wisdom and great riches: "Solomon son of David established himself over his kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.", 2 Chronicles 1:1; and also: "King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the others kings of the earth. The whole world sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart.", 1 Kings 10:23-24.
Who lives in the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, stability) are free from anguish and fright because they know the love of God, which is in essence the love of wisdom and all living beings: "Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.", Leviticus 19:18.
The fear of God is the correct foundation for all material riches, which thus obtained are good: "Wealth is good where there is no sin", Ben Sira 13:24.
This is why the psalmist puts all his trust and security in his relationship with the Lord, like Job who, put to the test by the accusing angel, never proffered any offense against God and with meekness endured all the tests.
