Jesus said: If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains

In the Bible, Jesus used sometimes the word blind as a metaphor to describe man's inability to perceive the Kingdom of God with the mind: "Leaven them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit" Matthew 15:14.
But there were also situations where Jesus used the word blind to designate another matter, blind can mean in other situations in the Bible a person without discernment.
Jesus accused the Pharisees that their ways were not God's ways, the way of the Pharisees was the way of sin, not the way of righteousness ("Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", Matthew 7:12) and the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion). They knew what they were, they knew the correct path in life but they were sinful men, and they liked to be in that way, they "discerned" their path and so they "saw". The Pharisees were the main enemies of Jesus, and the greatest social oppressors with their heresies contrary to the teachings of Jesus: "Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering" Luke 11:52.
Jesus healed a man born blind in the Gospel of John to manifest the glory of the Father, and after curing him the blind man appeared before the priests but was expelled, and when he found him again Jesus directed his teachings to him about the spiritual blindness:
"Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, ´Do you believe in the Son of Man?´
´Who is he, sir?´ the man asked. ´Tell me so that I may believe in him.´
Jesus said, ´You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.´
Then the man said, ´Lord, I believe,´ and he worshiped him.
Jesus said, ´For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.´
Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, ´What? Are we blind too?´
Jesus said, ´If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains´" John 9:35-41.
