Hearthstone is screaming for a blockchain upgrade. Each card should be able to be sold and traded. Hearthstone could treat a players deck like a wallet. I'm sure some clever developer would be able to create card packs that can conceal 10 or so cards until purchase. The typical piece of gum in a card pack could be replaced by a random gift as well such as a card back, skin, portrait, golden gun, etc. Blizzard fans will be able to visit an auction house in-game to buy or trade Hearthstone cards or even Diablo items or Overwatch skins. Lost Hearthstone codes would only make cards more scarce creating the potential of a digital Black Lotus. Tournaments can be held in hardcore mode. In this mode, cards destroyed in-game are permanently destroyed. Most of all, it would be fun as hell. Blizzard knows all about fun.
It's a good idea, but i'm sure they'd want a big piece of the action for themselves :)
