Catch-22 - Black lives matter, but "black lives matter" don't matter.

The aggravating thing about how politics work is that it really is about teams.

I want to fight with Black Lives Matter against the criminal actions of cops, the murders of innocent people at the hands of the state, I want to end the war on drugs even though I only partake of alcohol and I'm trying to kick that, I'm on that side.

I can't say "Black lives matter" though, even though I agree with those three words wholeheartedly. The movement, however, is tainted by organizers who have called themselves "trained Marxists." This isn't right-wing slander, they've used the term themselves. I can't associate with that kind of evil.

I will, as the USA allied with the Soviets during WWII, associate with people I don't like if we can accomplish something good. If we could end abuses of policing power and hold murderers in the police force accountable, I would work with anybody to make that happen.

The problem is that BLM doesn't want me. They don't want my help on this subject even though, on this subject, I'm entirely on their side. They don't want me because I disagree on economic issues, social issues, tactical issues.

Basically, I want a coalition to end misconduct in policing. BLM has that entirely freaking right. I'm willing to work with Marxists if they're driving that cause. They're just not willing to work with me because I'm the crazy "free market guy."
