ONO Weekly Report: July 9–14, 2018

As of today, the ONO social network now has more than 356,309 registered users. Next week, the ONO social network iOS version will be available in the Apple App Store (Chinese version). The ONO development team will continue to work hard and make continuous improvements to bring the best experience for everyone.

ONO, the free decentralized blockchain network based on equality aims to create a prosperous and shared ONO ecosystem with ONO’s main network.

Important Notice: Mandatory ONOT Token Upgrade

ONO is in talks with major global exchanges. In order to comply with the requirements of the exchanges, ONO had rigorous code audits by third-party auditors in strict accordance with the requirements of the exchange.

It is now stated that the ONOT released by ONO on July 13 is only a beta version. It is now fully locked and cannot be transferred. The ONO founding team reminded supporters of the prohibition of over-the-counter trading.

The ONOT (ERC-20) official Token will be released on July 15. At that time, the interests of the actual ONOT holders will not be affected, and we will complete the 1 to 1 mapping after verification. You don’t need to do anything, just please do not move your existing ONOTs. This is a mandatory token upgrade and had to be done due to the code audit.

The ONO DAC is a self-organized, autonomous organization. Many private accounts from the ONO DAC members exist in major social media and we need to clarify that the ONO founding team does not control these accounts. The comments from these private accounts do not represent the ONO founding team’s views.

Among them, there are rumors that “the total amount of ONOT is not limited”, which is false information.

The open code of the ONOT contract indicates that ONO will be issued according to the needs of development (according to the white paper, an additional 5 billion will be issued each year), but the total amount of additional is limited to 100 billion.

1 Product and research and development progress

1.1 Product and R&D progress this week

Last week, the entire ONO community received encouragement from the international Super Partners. They made a video expressing their celebratory spirit, and all did a “Cheers to ONO!” We will continue to cheer! The international ONO version will be officially launched on July 15, 2018.

The international ONO version has entered the final beta testing from our Super Partners, and ONO will introduce more new features in the intl. version. There are more ways to interact when adding friends, optimizing the overall IM experience. International users can also perform KYC, and the long text function will be further optimized in the near future. International partners can use ONO English and Korean versions right away. You are welcome to comment. The mailbox registration is open soon, and more partners will come, too.

The ONO mainnet testnet is in progress and will be officially launched this month.

1.3 Product Operation Progress This Week

After the release of “ONO Community Code” on Friday, we officially released the specifications to the ONO social network on Tuesday, and began implementations on Wednesday. These are as follows: list of violations, reasons for folding, daily warnings, grievance methods, community regulations.

This week, a total of 35 users’ posts were collapsed, (for details, please refer to the previous “violations”). The community norms that are violated are mainly:

1. Article 2 of the first point of laws and regulations Sensitive content related to pornography, gambling and that which is expressly prohibited in the relevant regulations.
2. The second point is the first item under the unfriendly behavior: insults, harassment, discrimination, malicious incitement, attacks, threats or other behaviors that do not respect other users, causing serious impact on other users and ONO communities.
3. The first point under the third spam message Publish multiple spam advertisements containing products, services, and promotional content.
4. The second point of the third spam message The act of forging influence, such as buying bot activity, registering an account, asking for a fake comment, and interacting with bots.
5. The third point of the third spam message: Malicious marketing, mass posting, forwarding of comments, and any content not related to the topic.
6. The fourth point of malicious behavior Make plug-ins, malicious programs or related tutorials for abusing account functions.

Due to the current inadequacy of the ONO social network complaint mechanism, more development time is needed. Therefore, users who have a clear objection to the processing of results in the short term can go directly to Ke Xu and reply to fill out the form for feedback.

1.4 Next week product iteration plan

• Landing page supports new user registration.
• New invitation rules and page upgrades to support M3 invitations
• Attract more quality content creators and add content special editions
• New notification feature to make system messages and event messages at a glance
• Optimize for features such as article publishing
• Continue to optimize the anti-Spam mechanism, adding a two-factor authentication login in the content folding background

2 Market progress

2.1 Basic operations

As of July 13, the ONO social network has registered more than 356,309 beta users. The ONO development team will not sleep, make continuous efforts to create the best experience for everyone.

The ONO social network international version will be officially launched at 9:00 pm on July 15th, US time. Over 30,000 people have signed up for an invite code to ONO, of which 21% are from Korea, 70% from North America and 9% from other regions.

ONO iOS will be available in the Apple App Store next week.

The ONO Conference will be held on July 26th at the Beijing Film Directors Center.
