What is blockCAT (CAT)?

in blockcat •  7 years ago  (edited)

BlockCAT is a project the aims to allow anyone to deploy smart contracts, which is currently a niche and only accessible to those with coding knowledge. Use cases for this could be as small as splitting the cost of a pizza, or as large as creating your own token sale, without the fear of hackers taking advantage of bugs/holes in your security. A smart contract allows cryptocurrency to be exchanged once certain conditions are met, for example funds being released after a period of time.

What problem does it solve?

In order to create manage or deploy smart contracts it is often required you possess some sort of programming knowledge, for example if you wish to deploy a smart contract on the ethereum blockchain you might need to be proficient in solidity (ethereums programming language). To deploy a smart contract to your specification, could be time consuming, expensive and the security of the contract may have breach’s the creator cannot foresee.

BlockCAT aims to solve these problems by providing a safe, fast, cost effective service. They intend to break the barrier, that smart contracts aren’t just for coders. Their goal is to provide pain free access to smart contracts, which will allow easier entry to ethereums blockchain technology .

Cat wants to be as user friendly as possible, simply slide over some dials on app to adjust settings for your smart contracts, and execute. This is how simple blockCAT aims to be.

Possible use case’s for blockCAT?

  • Token Sales, anyone will be able to launch a funding goal, with the ability to issue tokens after the sale ends.
  • Kickstarters.
  • ERC20 tokens, are the protocol based on the ethereum block chain. BlockCAT will enable anyone to create these tokens to use in dAPPS (digital apps)
  • Joint payments, funding goals for trips, takeaways, holidays, only paid out once funding goal has been reached.
  • Time lock your ERC20 tokens, great for those wanting to hold tokens for extensive periods of time.

Token USE

  • CAT will be used as the primary method for paying for smart contracts.
  • Voting mechanism, the tokens are used for governance over the platforms developers. This acts as an accountability measure, funds will only be released to developers working on cat, if milestone targets are met.

Exchanges

BlockCAT is available on Etherdelta and Cryptopia. BlockCAT done well in a community vote on Binance last month, and as a result is expected to be listed soon and is in the final stages. The community has been told this is the reason why we are not participating in future votes.

Some Siamese cats appear cross-eyed because the nerves from the left side of the brain go to mostly the right eye and the nerves from the right side of the brain go mostly to the left eye. This causes some double vision, which the cat tries to correct by “crossing” its eyes.

Most cats give birth to a litter of between one and nine kittens. The largest known litter ever produced was 19 kittens, of which 15 survived.
