Steemit has over the past few Months evolved slowly from an Individual based platform to a Community based one, we now have more communities than ever on Steemit
These communities are built around different sectors, Languages and Idealogies and It is not strange to see someone belonging to more than one community on Steemit, last I checked I am active in 15 different Steemit communites on Discord, and all these communities have their different purposes
Communities are powerful especially when it comes to making decisions like who to vote for in a contest or who deserves a particular favour. When it comes to making progress as a community , there are certain things the leaders must keep in mind and that can be gleaned from Tribal Leadership
A Tribe is a group of 20 to 150 people that operate within the same beliefs and Idealogies
It is within these tribes that all of our work gets done be it at work or in government. And leaders have a vital role to play when it comes to tribes. Before I go further i want to make it known to you that every member of a tribe is a Leader but they all have different Leadership Levels
Forming of Tribes is a natural Human nature just like breathing, Humans will always form tribes, but not all tribes are the same and what differentiates tribes is Culture.
And when it comes to building community here on Steemit, I am going to be describing the various culture that different Steemit Communities have been built around, you can also check the Stages and know which Stage any of the communities are in
Lawless Communities
I am not denying the fact that there are some inconsistencies on Steemit, but you have to do your best and find ways to work around them
Communities at this level are made up of people who all agree that Steemit is Unfair, they are made up of people who have pulled out from functional communities due to one reason or another and they come together and Lament all day of how unfair the system is Instead of looking for ways to make things better
They are the ones who will also spend all days trolling and Spamming just to piss people off and spark arguments. They will always do anything to survive even if it means hurting other people
In real life these are the ones who end up in Prisons and they are the kind of people who end up with a Negative rep on Steemit, the issue is that these people open a fresh accounts and continue where they stopped from
Scale Communities
These is the level where most communities are and if things are not done, we will not move forward as a community. This stage discourages Unity of any form or design
Members of Scale communties sees members of similar communities as Inferior to them. And they think that the best way to show it is by competition
Steemit is a place filled with talents that is why this stage of community ideology exists more than the others. If we are truly going to experience fast development and build stronger communities we have to move from this stage to the next stage
Unified Communities
This is the level where a few Steemit Communities are in. And this Situation is not helpful to the Community
The focus in this communities is not on their individual strength or the strength of their rivals. There are focused on Communal strength
We witnessed this few moths back where the whole community went on Twitter vote on a Poll. Everyone knew that winning that Poll will do great things for the community, and it is one of the few times everyone acted in the Interest of the community
When communties come together and find things that unite them beyond their Individual capabilities then something Important really happens, the focus moves from Individual existence to Community existence
Vision Driven Communities
This is the last and final stage of community Leadership and it is one we are still not yet in.
It is at this stage that we will let the right values guide our actions as a general community, it is also at this level that we will call out the ones who are viewed as untouchables
It is at this stage that we all come together and work with the values that Steemit was built upon which is transparency and fairness
This is one of the hardest stages to operate in, but it is the one that will bring the best results. If we are really serious about using STEEM to change the world then this is the level we have to operate in at all times
Note To Leaders
As a Leader even if you don't operate at the Lower levels of community leadership you have to find ways to life up people who are at that stage and make them see the Light
It will not be easy believe me, but it is not something that you will tell them, it is something that you have to show them and they will understand. You have to match your words with actions
And even though you find yourself in communities operating at the lower levels you have to find ways to nudge them to the nest level of Community Leadership
A best way to do this is introducing people to a community that operates at a higher Idealogy and over time their mindset will adjust
What are your thoughts concerning these Four Stages Of Community Leadership, Share your thoughts in the Comments below, I will love to hear from you
I like the idea of a vision driven community, I think every community should have a vision of what they planned to achieve. I am not aware of the twitter pool you were referring to. What was it about?
A popular Chinese Cryptocurrency exchange held a Poll on Twitter to decide which new Coin to add to the exchange. STEEM was one of the Contending coins.
We won the first round but lost the second round narrowly.
I think given a few more years to evolve and Steemit will be a more vision driven platform. I already see it as such ; although it has its negative points.
Very good. Come up with tutorials on how your designs are done. I do it sometimes when i've got the time. But, I wont deceive its more stressful than the design itself. But, with time, you will get the hang of it in a faster way

Thanks for reading @masterroshi
We will just have to work out the Negative Points and move forward as a Community.
